Paranapiacaba! and Swimming Gala

Last Wednesday PYP 6 students we able to explore the settlement of Paranapiacaba! Knowledgeable guides led students on a walking tour through the settlement and gave in-depth explanations as to the origins of Paranapiacaba. Paranapiacaba was established as a company town for the employees of São Paulo Railway, a privately owned British railway company.
Students learned about the services in the town, as well as the needs and opportunities of its residents. The boys and girls also went on a hike to see what the area was like before the settlers arrived.

Swimming Gala
Students in Jd. Europa finished off their swimming unit with a fun morning of swimming! There were individual races as well as relays. Parents and teachers even got in on the action! Thank you to the parents who participated!
