Interview members of your family about their heritage. Find out where you family originally came from. If possible interview a member of your family who migrated to Brazil. The following questions maybe useful.
- Where did your mother's and father's family originally come from?
- When did they migrate to Brazil?
- Why did they migrate to Brazil?
- How was life when they first arrived?
- How was life in Brazil different then compared with now?
- Do you still celebrate anything from your families heritage? (food, festivals, religion etc..)
Also ask the people you interview to show you the countries your family originally came from on a map.
